HEY every one!!!! this is Tom Vaughan (tomisdabomb02) and this is my latest and best knex coaster!!! ATOMIC ROCKET! Atomic Rocket was built in the Summer holidays of 2009 and it was built in 15 days. the roller coaster was a challenge as i wanted to build to the biggest i could with the limited amount of pieces that i had. i had 3SSC and i used the Serpents spiral coasters knex in the creation. i was planing to create giant elements for what i could afford to build. so i built a 2 meter tall immelmann and a 1.3 meter vertical loop. It was a zero g loop. the coaster needed a powerful launch because i wanted to launch 5 trains. i tryed multiple launch techniques. i tryed 3 different ways. you can see them all in the !!!!DELETED SCENES VIDEO!!! below the actual video.. (scroll down) i designed my own type of launch. i called it the "Tom-Cat" launch short for tom catch car. the coaster was built to be realistic so as you can see that the whole roller coaster looks and banks smooth. i also made a custom station. which housed the launch mechanism for the "Tom-Cat" launch and it also held a station brake. a pop op break system that gets dispensed once the train clears the runway. the pop up stands in a vertical position coming from under the track and it stops the train at the rite place when it returns to the station. i will be using the "Tom-Cat" launch on my new roller coaster i am building as well! id like to thank my lovely girlfriend Jacqui for helping me out with the picture for Atomic rocket and helping me pack up the ride. id also like to thank Chloe for coming over and helping me and cheering me up whilst i was home alone. if you guys wer wondering why i was waring things on my legs. it was due to a incident that occurred and i got 2ND DEGREE BURNS OVER MY ARMS AND LEGS. and i had to stay in hospital for over 2 weeks. also thanks for supporting me by visiting this page. :) i am getting payed by google ad sense so thanks or popping by :) so this is the video of Atomic Rocket and i hope you also love the DELETED SCENES VIDEO.
